CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: 40th Annual Arts Awards

ArtsNL is now accepting nominations for the 40^th Annual Arts Awards.

Members of the public can submit one nomination in each of the following six categories:

ARTIST OF THE YEAR
ARTIST ACHIEVEMENT
ARTS IN EDUCATION
EMERGING ARTIST
HALL OF HONOUR
PATRON OF THE ARTS

Nominations must be completed online and will be accepted via the ArtsNL website at www.artsnl.ca/awards/nominations. The submitted nomination form is regarded as a letter of support. Additional information on nominations and eligibility is available here. Frequently asked questions about Arts Awards nominators and nominees can be found at www.artsnl.ca/awards/faqs.

ArtsNL will contact nominees to request support materials to inform the jury’s discussions. Electronically submitted support materials (e.g., PDF; JPG; video links) must be uploaded by the nominee. (ArtsNL will supply nominees with access to a cloud folder.) Nominees must supply a bio and recent headshots to potentially be used in all Arts Awards-related publicity.

Nominations close Friday, April 11, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. NT.

ArtsNL will reach out to nominees within 3-5 weeks from the close of nominations to confirm support materials and other relevant information.

Details regarding the date and location of the awards ceremony will be announced at a later date.
